I assure you, you CAN print your work without paying extra for that ability! Note: I have no affiliation with this program at all. I have used another poster printing program for more than ten years called "Poster". I know that's a stretch, but for the moment I am trying to give the author the benefit of doubt, until I know for sure. I hope I am wrong and the printer part is included with the designer part and they sell the printer part separately for someone that just has that need. "Printing is where the software comes to a stop. I will enjoy having this program available. Perhaps I am just used to always checking which printer will be used. But, if one printer goes down, it could be a problem.
However, when I do have multiple printers on my system, it would be nice to be able to preset programs to always use the same printer. In this case, if it a major problem to choose a printer when you click on Print, then this is definitely not a program to be used.
I can think of several reasonable choices a business could make as to what is in the final product. It installs as Poster Printer, and when I have a poster ready to print, I will choose Poster Printer as my printer. When I get back to my office, I print the pdf's. As I am often without a printer, I have used cutePDF, as a virtual printer. I do not have a problem with this software not printing the posters.

Upon seeing the comments about not being able to print from within the program, I searched for, multi page poster printer driver I found several possibilities, including that much of the software previously mentioned, have the ability to print as posters. This sounds like it will do what I need just recently got an assignment where I need to make or at least design posters.
